Frugal Table Meal Plan #1

I intended on getting this posted yesterday, but it didn't happen (amongst other things on "to do" list as well!). So, the frugal table starts TODAY! Wohoo! Check out what we are having for dinner this week and join us! (*note: I will post so that you can plan ahead to make these meals)

Monday Night: Yummy Chili Cheese Dogs
Tuesday Night: Bubble Pizza w/ Salad
Wednesday Night: Leftover Night or Pancakes, eggs and bacon
Thursday Night: Salmon Patties w/Rice Pilaf and Carrots
Friday Night: Cheesy Chicken Casserole and homeade bread
Saturday Night: Maid Rite Sandwiches and green beans
Sunday Afternoon: Layered Baked Nachos

Optional Dessert: Peanut butter chocolate eclair

Here is a grocery list for the meals this week:

Monday night: Yummy chili cheese dogs
Hot Dogs
Hot Dog Buns
Hot Dog Sauce or beanless chili
Sharp Cheddar cheese
onion (optional)

Tuesday night: Bubble pizza and salad
2 tubes of biscuits (these come in a pack of 4 biscuits- they are very cheap!)
1 jar of pizza sauce
2 cups mozzerella or pizza cheese
1 lb sausage (or meat of your choice)
Add any other veggies or meats you like on your pizza (to keep ours at a reasonable price, we only use sausage)

Wednesday night: Leftovers
Leftover night! If you don't have any leftovers, this would be a great night to have breakfast for dinner... mix up some pancakes, eggs and bacon and cinnamon rolls for dessert. Yummy!

Thursday night: Salmon Patties with Rice Pilaf and carrots
2 -6oz cans of pink salmon (make sure to get boneless and skinless)
saltine crackers
dill (we use dried)
Rice Pilaf
Baby carrots

Friday night: Cheesy Chicken Casserole and homemade bread
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 pepper
1 onion
thin spaghetti
1 lb chicken
sharp cheddar cheese
pimentos (optional)
lawry's seasoned salt
cayenne pepper

bread: bread machine bread-
white/wheat flour
fast rising yeast
vegetable oil
dry milk

Saturday night: Maid Rites and green beans
1 lb ground beef
1 medium size onion
brown sugar
Worshestire sauce

1 pack buns
Fresh, frozen or canned green beans

Sunday Afternoon: Layered Bake Nachos!
Nacho Chips
Black Beans
Pico De Gallo (buy or make your own w/ 1 tomato, 1/2 onion, cilantro, salt and lime juice)
Shredded Sharp Cheddar
Sour Cream

Optional Dessert: Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclair
1 instant vanilla pudding (box that serves 4)
1 pack of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 box of honey graham crackers
peanut butter
8 oz cool whip
